Whether you’re in the sport to have some fun, want to turn your “fling” into a solid “forearm”, or looking to make the grade for Touring Team status, the CUA has a league for every need.
Format
Our league teams play one game per week with seven players (per team) on the field at all times. There’s no limit to the number of players you can have on your team, but because this is a co-ed league you’ll need to have at least three women on the field throughout your game. Games have no time-limit, instead they are played until either one of the teams reaches 15 points (typically about 1.5 – 2.5 hours). We play using the Ultimate Players Association (UPA) 11th Edition rules (complete rules can be found here. Be patient, it takes a while to open). You’ll spot Calgary Ultimate teams on fields across the city in the summer—we play in all four quadrants.
Summer League Co-Ed Divisions
Beginners will love our C division – it’s a blast and a great way to get started in the sport. Got some experience under your belt? You’ll find a good challenge in B. Nationals on the brain? Prep your skills in our A league.

Spring League Men's & Women's Hat League
Calgary Ultimate runs a Men's / Women's Hat League in the Spring. The two separate leagues are targeted at players who would like to improve their skills and play outside the regular co-ed structure.
The leagues run Monday nights and start at the beginning of April and run for six games.
