 We'd like to extend a big welcome to the newest member of the CUA team -- Cindy Gardner joins us as the Ho-Down/Slo-Down Coordinator for 2010. She's got a big job ahead of her as this year's tournament marks HoDown's 25th Anniversary!
Even though Cindy's an admitted "Ho-Down Virgin", that's not stopping her from taking on the challenge with guns a blazin'. "I've heard it's a great event that brings some amazing ultimate to Calgary and I wanted to be a part of it," she says. Now that's the spirit!
Of course, this event is much more than a one-woman effort. She's going to need a western sized posse-ful of help. If you're interested in lending some time and/or ideas to make this year's tourney 25 times the party it was last year, drop Cindy a line at

. Every little effort helps, from preliminary logistics handling to sponsorship soliciting, and from event day setup and takedown to manning the food tent and collecting game scores. What are you interested in? We'll make sure we find a volunteer job just for you!
Mark your calendars: the dates for this year's tourney are June 26 & 27.
